Three killed after car crashes into tree
Three people were killed when the car they were in crashed into a tree in Tongaat in KwaZulu-Natal on Friday night.
Netcare 911 spokesman Chris Botha said the accident occurred on the Watson Highway near Westbrook.
A fourth man was critically injured in the crash and taken to hospital.
Botha said he could not comment on the reason for the crash.
However, it is understood that the four were fleeing police, but comment could not immediately be obtained from police.
