Updated | By Lonwabo Miso
Three people died and two were injured when a military plane crashed in Blystaanhoogte on Tuesday, Mpumalanga police said.

The aircraft, which took off from Waterkloof, Pretoria, had five people on board, including two pilots, said Brigadier Selvy Mohlala.
"Both the pilots and one of the passengers were killed on the scene."
The injured were airlifted to Nelspruit Medi-clinic, he said.
Mohlala said reports suggested that the plane crashed during a training exercise.
