Three killed in Mpumalanga tavern shooting

Mpumalanga police are investigating a deadly shooting at a tavern in Tweefontein on Sunday.

Three people were shot and killed during the incident.
Two unknown gunmen reportedly entered the tavern and began shooting indiscriminately, killing three men.
Provincial police spokesperson Donald Mdhluli says the motive for the shooting is still unknown.
"Police are investigating three counts of murder and so far no one has been arrested as yet. The victims, who are known to the SAPS, have not yet been formally identified by their families. The motive for the shooting is currently unknown.
"Meanwhile, a 72-hour mobilisation plan has been activated and a team of experts in the investigation field has been assembled with a hope to track down the suspects.”
