Three people were killed and several others injured in a collision between two minibus taxis near Ngodwana in Mpumalanga on Monday afternoon.
The provincial transport department’s Moeti Mmusi says twelve people were injured, with the injuries ranging from moderate to serious.
"They were all rushed to a nearby hospital in Mbombela transported by various ambulance services".
Mmusi says while details remain sketchy, it is believed that it was a so-called ‘sideswipe collision’.
