Three men decapitated in accident
Three men were decapitated when the driver of a truck lost control and crashed into the basement parking of a multi story building in Seapoint, Western Cape Government Health said.
The accident happen late on Tuesday afternoon, Cape Town Emergency Control Centre Emergency Medical and Forensic Pathology Services spokesperson Robert Daniels said.
“The three men were killed on impact and emergency services called in the services of a structural engineer before attempting to remove the bodies from the wreckage fearing structural damage to the building and injuries to emergency personnel,” he said.
“All three bodies were eventually taken to the Salt River Mortuary.”
The exact cause of the accident would be investigated.
