Three nabbed with dagga worth R70k
Three people have been arrested for the possession of dagga with a street value of R70 000.
The suspects were arrested on Wednesday morning.
It is alleged that the suspects, two Swaziland nationals and one South African, were stopped along the Highveld road in Kempton Park carrying 14 bags.
“The dagga consignment was discovered when STT members stopped and searched a vehicle, a white Nissan NP 300, used to convey the drugs from Swaziland into South Africa," says Ekurhuleni metro police spokesperson Kelebogile Thepa.

"The discovery was made following a tipoff of the intended destination and route plan, by virtue of it being in transit in the Aerotropolis City, it was halted before final destination.”
The suspects will appear in court soon.
