Three nabbed for stolen cars in Tshwane

Three stolen vehicles and false number plates were recovered by police on Monday, following the arrests of suspects believed to be linked to trio crimes in Tshwane.
The three suspects are believed to be involved in various theft, carjacking, house and business robberies in Ga-Rankuwa and Soshanguve.
Spokesperson Dimakatso Sello says police also seized unlicensed firearms and ammunition during the operation.

“Three stolen vehicles, two unlicensed firearms, ammunition, false number plates, cellphones and various suspected stolen property. Multiple stencils which are being used to temper with vehicles' VIN and engine numbers were also seized.”
The firearms recovered by police will be subject to ballistic tests to determine if they are linked to other crimes.
