Three women injured in Limpopo accident
Three women sustained several injuries when their car overturned on the N1 highway near Kranskop, according to paramedics.
According to ER24 paramedics two of the women were found outside the vehicle when they arrived on the scene.
"One of them was found trapped inside of the vehicle. Two of the women sustained critical injuries and was placed on life support on the incident. The third sustained a fracture to her leg and other injuries. She was in a moderate condition," paramedics said.
An emergency medical helicopter was called to the scene to airlift one of them to hospital. The other two was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital.
The exact cause of the incident is not yet known. Bystanders on the scene indicated that the car rolled for several meters before it came to a standstill on the side of the road.
