Throats slit in Durban mosque attack

Three suspects allegedly entered the building shortly after prayers on Thursday afternoon and targeted the Imam.
One person has died and two others wounded during an attack on a mosque in Verulam, Durban, on Thursday afternoon.
Minutes after prayers concluded, three men allegedly entered the mosque, and slit the Imam's throat.
They then allegedly slit the throat of the Imam's devotee and cut another person's stomach open.
The suspects also allegedly set the building alight before fleeing on foot.
Emergency services say one of the victims who had their throats cut died in hospital.
The identity of the victim is unconfirmed.
