Too much water leads to a shortage of water
Updated | By Gerda de Sousa
Residents of vast areas from the north of Tshwane are without water, after the City of Tshwane's raw water pumps at Leewkraal Dam in Temba got flooded during the heavy down pours on Friday.

Tshwane authorities say the Temba water treatment plant had to be switched off to enable flooded area and pumps to dry up..
Spokepserson Lindela Mashigo says once dry, the pumps will then be checked for damages before they are switched back on.
"We have a contractor on site that has started the process."
Mashigo warns it may take the rest of the week end to complete the inspections:
Areas affected are Temba, Hammanskraal, Renstown, Babelegi, Ramotse, Marokolong, Sekampaneng, Stinkwater, Suurman and New Eersterus
