Tourist bus robbed in Mamelodi

Police have launched a manhunt for an unknown number of suspects in connection with the robbery of a tour bus in Mamelodi on Monday.

Gauteng police spokesperson Kay Makhubele says the bus was attacked while entering a primary school.
"People who were going to one school this afternoon were attacked by a group of men who robbed them of their belongings.
"They got away with laptops, phones, cameras and plane tickets."

Makhubela says the bus driver was injured and taken to hospital.
A case of armed robbery has been opened.
Makhubele urged anyone with information to come forward.
