Tourist chased by hundreds of rabbits
Updated | By Staff Writer
A video of a tourist being chased by hundreds of hungry rabbits on a Japanese island is going viral online.
Thousands of people have watched the clip filmed on the island of Okunoshima - also known as Rabbit Island, in the Inland Sea.
The tiny island was used as a secret army base during World War Two and it's believed rabbits were introduced for the testing of poison gas.
Other people claim that a group of schoolchildren on a field trip released eight of the animals in 1971.
Either way, the rabbits did what rabbits do best and tourists now visit to feed and pet the animals which have overrun the island.
