Tractor runs over 4 children
Four children died when they were run over by a tractor in Ndwedwe north of Durban, KwaZulu-Natal police said on Wednesday.
Captain Thulani Zwane said the children, aged between three and seven, were allegedly playing on a dirt road on Tuesday afternoon when a tractor hit them.
"Three died at the scene and the fourth died today [Wednesday] in hospital."
He said the driver fled the scene after the incident. He would be charged with four counts of culpable homicide.
