Tributes pour in following death of ACDP’s Lydia Meshoe

Meshoe was the president of the ACDP’s women’s formation and a former member of the Gauteng provincial legislature in Gauteng, as well as the wife of ACDP president Kenneth Meshoe.

President Cyril Ramaphosa has conveyed his condolences to the Meshoe family and the party as a whole.

“We join the Meshoe family and the African Christian Democratic Party in mourning the loss of a leader who was in the prime of her service to the communities and structures in which she realised her own destiny.

“May her soul rest in peace as we reflect on her life which, guided by her deep spiritual faith, she dedicated to the empowerment of women and the improvement of socio-economic conditions in various communities.”
