Tshegofatso Pule killer sentenced to 20 years behind bars

Muzikayise Malephane has been sentenced to 20 years in jail in the High Court in Johannesburg for the murder of Tshegofatso Pule.

Malephane pleaded guilty to all four charges against him after entering into a plea agreement with the state.
He has been convicted on a charge of murder, as well as defeating the ends of justice and the unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition.

Pule, who was eight months pregnant at the time of her murder, was found hanging from a tree in Durban Deep, west of Johannesburg.
The 28-year-old had been stabbed in the chest.
