Tshwane disaster centre records 2nd Covid-19 case

The disaster management centre in has recorded a second confirmed case of Covid-19.
The city was forced to close a section of the centre after a police official stationed at the building tested positive for coronavirus.
Spokesperson Omogolo Taunyane-Mnguni says a 60 year-old woman has now also tested positive for the virus.

“She works in the emergency medical operations divisions and was informed of her results subsequent to a South African Police Services officer who tested positive for the illnesses earlier this week.
“As is the case with with the previously reported case, she too is asymptomatic and therefore doesn’t display any symptoms. Contact tracing is underway.”
All the centre’s employees have been tested and asked self-isolate for 14 days and will thus be working from home.
