Tshwane emergency services rescued a female motorist from a flooded road on Tuesday morning.

The woman was trapped in her vehicle in a flooded area at End and Rabie Street in Centurion
]Tshwane EMS spokesperson Charles Mabaso says she was rescued unharmed.
"She has not sustained any injuries. The vehicle remains trapped.
"We are continuing to make a plea to motorists not to attempt to cross low-lying bridges and roads. We call on the residents where barriers have been placed not to open the barriers and cross the roads."
In a separate incident in the north of Tshwane, a person was trapped in a flooded shack in Soshanguve near Soutpan Road.
Mabaso says emergency services were dispatched to Soshanguve to conduct an assessment.
