The City of Tshwane on Tuesday confirmed that it had received the necessary equipment to repair the Bronkhorstspruit water pump station.

Spokesperson Selby Bokaba says a pump was delivered on Friday, while the motor was delivered on Monday evening.
"The installation of both the pump and motor is expected to commence today (Tuesday), after which a series of tests will be done on the equipment to confirm if all is in order before pumping can get underway.
"If the test results come out positive, restoration of water supply to the affected areas is expected to commence, and more areas will start receiving water due to the increased pumping capacity from Wednesday, 13 March 2024, onwards.”
