Tshwane residents warned of possible water cuts in parts of city
Updated | By Cliff Shiko
Magalies Water on Friday warned Tshwane residents of possible water supply interruptions due to low levels at its Cullinan reservoir.

The entity says this is due to the growing water demand from customers amid the ongoing heatwave, which has put a strain on the reservoir.
Spokesperson David Magae said demand is outstripping supply.
"As a result, the reservoir levels have dropped drastically, and regrettably, some customers will experience low-pressured water and or no water supply intermittently.
"Consequently, water demand management has been implemented in order to sustain the current water supply and to mitigate further strain on the scheme.
"We urge customers to use water sparingly during this period in order to prevent prolonged water supply interruptions.”
