Tshwane substation on fire
Residents of Equestria, Silver Lakes, Wapadrand, Faerie Glen and Olypmus are experiencing a power outage, after a fire engulfed the Wapadrand substation in the east of the Tshwane Metro .

The substation caught fire on Tuesday morning.
Tshwane spokesperson, Lindela Mashigo, says emergency teams are attending to the problem.
Mashigo says it will take a while before the cause of the fire has been established.
On Monday morning, the same areas also experienced a major outage, when Tshwane said cable theft caused the disruption.
