Tshwane Mayor urges patience amid developments in the north
Updated | By JacarandaFM News
Tshwane has allocated a big portion of its budget to upgrading areas in the northern parts of the city.
Tshwane Mayor Solly Msimanga told JacarandaFM's Breakfast with Martin Bester and Tumi Morake residents in the north of the city, including Garankuwa, Hammanskraal, Mabopane and Soshanguve, will have to be patient while construction continues.
Msimanga says they want to ensure that they take some of their investments and focus on other parts of Pretoria.
"Those areas are going to receive a big chunk of our investment on roads, on storm water drainage, on bulk infrastructure, water, electricity and sewerage systems," Msimanga says.
It's going to be a construction site going that way, because we are trying to make sure that we are able to give people services. It will cause some inconvenience, but we will get there."
