A Tshwane University of
Technology (TUT) student has been killed on campus this morning.
It follows an argument with his roommate this morning.
TUT confirms the student was killed in his room at the Lezard men’s residence at TUT’s Pretoria west campus.
University spokesperson Willa de Ruyter says the student was hit over the head with an unknown object.
“Details are still sketchy, but the suspect has been arrested,” de Ruyter says.
It’s understood the suspect is a 23-year old third year Agricultural student.
The suspect is expected to appear in court on Monday.
