TUT students demand to be addressed by management, SRC
Updated | By Maryke Vermaak
Protesting students at the Tshwane University of Technology's (TUT) Soshanguve campus has given management and the SRC until the end of today to address them.

Sthembiso Mcube from Pasma says they want management and SRC to come to the table and will not allow tests to be written over the weekend or classes to continue next week if this doesn't happen.
"It doesn't make sense for the university to say they will resume academic activities, because the library was not operating this week, even the labs were not operating. How do you expect students to study?" he asked.
Mcube says they are not hooligans and want to go to class.
"We are willing to go to classes, even tomorrow, if management says tonight they are willing to come on board and discuss the issues pertaining this campus and the issues of fees," he said.
He says the revolution will continue if they are ignored.
"We are going to peacefully get our students and show that there will be no academic activities."
