Twenty injured in Warden accident
Updated | By Lonwabo Miso
Twenty people were injured when seven heavy goods vehicles and five motor vehicles collided on the N3 near Warden on Wednesday, paramedics said.

"Reports from the scene indicate that visibility was very poor on the road due to smoke caused by a field fire in the area," said Netcare 911 spokeswoman Santi Steinmann.
Six of the heavy goods vehicles and three of motor vehicles burst into flames following the collision.
The injured were treated on scene and were taken to various hospitals for further medical care.
