Twitter reacts to City of Joburg's new leadership
Twitter has reacted with very creative posts after the DA's Herman Mashaba was appointed as Mayor of Johannesburg and Vasco da Gama's appointment as Speaker.
Even though Mashaba's election as mayor of was over shadowed by the collapse and death of an ANC Councillor during Monday night's inaugural council meeting, twitter did not hold back in dishing out some shade.
Social media was also abuzz with memes, photos and posts after the DA's Vasco De Gama was elected as Speaker.
One of the first tweets read: "If you do a #VascoDeGama joke on twitter, you'll probably win the internet, because no-one else has done one yet. Quick!"
