Two abandon bail in Polokwane mother, daughter murder case
Updated | By Gaopalelwe Phalaetsile
Two suspects in the murders of Lizette Deacon and her mother, Hettie Deacon, abandoned bail in the Polokwane Magistrate Court on Thursday.
NPA spokesperson in Limpopo, Mashudu Malabi-Dzhangi says the state has applied to have them declared them not suitable for bail.
"Both have previous convictions, Mudau is not legally in the country and has not provided a fixed address where he can stay in South Africa, and Mmako could also not provide a fixed address as well as an identity number. These are the basic requirements so they can be traced," said Malabi-Dzhangi.
