Two arrested for Cape Town robberies
Updated | By MornéJK jk
Three business robberies occurred in the Elsies River police precinct in the week of August 16, in which shop owners and others in the shop were threatened with firearms by three or four suspects, spokesman Captain FC van Wyk said in a statement.
Two suspects were arrested on Friday. An identity parade would be held to determine whether they were also involved in other business robberies.
The modus operandi was the same and the crime scenes not far apart. One of the suspects could also be positively linked to another business robbery through video footage.
The other suspect was found in possession of a stolen cellphone, Van Wyk said.
