Two arrested for murder of elderly couple on Thohoyandou farm
Limpopo police have arrested two suspects in connection with the gruesome murder of an elderly couple on a farm in Levubu outside Thohoyandou.
The couple were murdered on Wednesday.
The bodies of the 74-year-old man and his wife were found burnt beyond recognition after their home caught alight during what police believe to have been a house robbery.
Provincial police spokesperson Malesela Ledwaba says they are looking for a third suspect.
"The task team was activated, and they have been on the lookout for the suspects, and they were arrested today at a neighbouring village.”
