Updated | By ECR Newswatch
Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the murder of South African Communist Party member, Nsiki Blose.
She's one of two people killed amid tensions between the SACP and ANC in the Inchanga area, since yesterday.
40-year-old Blose was shot and killed at a tavern in the area, shortly after 7pm last night.
38-year-old Xolani Ngcobo - who's believed to be member of the ANC Youth League - was killed in the early hours of this morning.
Meanwhile, police have arrested more than 100 people for public violence since unrest broke-out in the area on Monday.
Community Safety MEC Mxolisi Kaunda, SACP Provincial Chairperson James Nxumalo and Deputy Chairperson Nomvuzo Shabalala are currently meeting with local leadership at the Inchanga Police Station to address the matter.
The MEC's called for calm - saying police will continue to maintain a presence in the area.
