Two cars hit pedestrian
A pedestrian has died after he was knocked over by one car before being driven over by another on Modderfontein Road in Founders Hill on Saturday night, said paramedics.
“While paramedics were still busy assessing the pedestrian, a third vehicle drove through the incident scene and also drove over the pedestrian,” said Netcare 911 spokeswoman Santi Steinmann in a statement issued on Sunday.
She said the pedestrian killed was a man in his thirties.
“Exact detail surrounding the cause of the pedestrian accident and preceding events are still unclear,” said Steinmann.
A police investigation was now under way.
