Two cell phone thieves nabbed in Hillbrow

Two men have been arrested by the Johannesburg metro police for stealing three cell phone in Braamfontein.

The two suspects were nabbed in Hillbrow on Wednesday.
Metro police spokesperson Wayne Minnaar says officers gave chase and subsequently arrested the suspects.
“The JMPD undercover unit was notified, who intercepted the vehicle which the suspects were in, as they were on their way to Hillbrow.

“A chase ensued and they were blocked at Goldreich Street and Quartz Street where the officers discovered the three cell phones which belonged to the victim.
“The suspects were arrested and charged at Hillbrow Police Station.“
The suspects are expected to appear in the Hillbrow Magistrate’s Court soon.
