Two children killed in Joburg fire
Johannesburg emergency services say two children, aged 2 and 5, were killed in a fire at an informal settlement in Fleurhof.
In total, 44 shacks were gutted by fire.
"There was one adult female who sustained minor injuries and was treated for smoke inhalation," said emergency services spokesperson Robert Mulaudzi.
"At this stage the cause of the fire is believed to be an unattended candle."
