Police kill 18 suspects in Limpopo shootout
Eighteen suspects were shot and killed near Makhado in Limpopo on Friday afternoon.
Details were still sketchy by late Friday afternoon, but national police spokesperson Athlenda Mathe said the suspects died during a shootout with police.
National Police Commissioner Fannie Masemola was on his way to the crime scene along with the Hawks head Godfrey Lebeya.
