Updated | By ANA
Two people died after their vehicle overturned in the early hours of Friday morning on the R28 heading towards Vereeniging from Westonaria, ER24 said.

The emergency medical service provider said when paramedics and fire and rescue services arrived on scene they found the badly damaged vehicle laying on its side in a veld several metres away from the road.
“The vehicle had rolled multiple times. All three patients were believed to have been ejected,” said ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing.
“A man found next to the vehicle, believed to be 23 years of age and the driver of the vehicle, was assessed and found to have sustained fatal injuries. He was declared dead.
“A woman, also believed to be 23 years of age, who was found several metres away from the vehicle was also declared dead.”
Bodasing said another woman believed to be 25 years of age survived the crash and only “sustained moderate injuries”.
The woman was treated and taken to hospital. The exact cause of the incident is unknown, however, authorities were investigating.
Reports indicate that more than 500 people have lost their lives in car crashes since the begining of December.
