Two die in Limpopo bus accident
An accident in Limpopo involving a bus and a sedan has claimed the lives of two people and leaving scores of other people injured.
The accident took place on the Giyani to Nsami road.
Preliminary investigations have revealed that the bus was trying to overtake two vehicles when it collided with a the car.
Limpopo Transport spokesperson Mike Maringa, says the bus then lost control veered off the road and overturned.

“Two people were certified dead on the scene and 17 others were rushed to Khensani hospital.The deceased were passengers in the bus,” says Maringa.
He adds that preliminary investigations show that speeding could have played a role in the deadly crash.
The Giyani to Nsami road has been temporarily closed.
