Two die in Musina accident

An accident 10km outside Musina, Limpopo has claimed the lives of two men.


ER24 says the men died during a head on collision between a taxi and a SUV on the N1 Highway.
ER24 spokesprson Russel Meiring says when paramedics arrived on the scene, the SUV was on fire.
"Paramedics assessed the patients inside the SUV and found that two men has sustained numerous fatal injuiries."
"Nothing further could be done for them and they were later declared dead," says Meiring.

Upon further inspection, paramedics discovered that four more patients had been trapped in the SUV
"Assessments showed that all four patients were in a critical condition," adds Meiring.
The driver of the taxi was assessed and found to have sustained moderate injuries.
The patients were transported to Musina Hospital for further care.
