Two killed amid heavy rain in KZN

Two people died in KwaZulu-Natal after a storm ravaged parts of Inanda on Monday night.

The couple died when a roof and the walls of their home collapsed and fell on them.
Durban Mayor Mxolisi Kaunda says the couple were certified dead on scene.
Kaunda, who also went to visit the family on Tuesday, said emergency services will continue to be on the ground to monitor the situation.
"Our teams are working flat out to be responsive and are working on a report of the damages that have transpired.”
The South African Weather Service has issued yet another warning for possible localised flooding in Durban.
This is after two weather systems converged over parts of the greater Durban area on Sunday, bringing with it more rain.
