Updated | By Nathan Daniels
Two people have been killed and several others injured in a motor vehicle accident in the East Rand.

Two people were killed and twenty injured when a taxi collided with a truck in Germiston.
According to ER24 paramedics, another taxi then almost collided into wreckage on Power Road in the early hours of Monday morning.
"One taxi and truck were found in the middle of the road while a second taxi had come to a stop on the side of the road," says spokesperson Russel Meiring.
He says the twenty passengers sustained injuries ranging from minor to critical.
"Upon closer inspection, paramedics discovered the bodies of a man and woman lying motionless in front of one of the taxis. Unfortunately, both patients had already succumbed to their injuries."
