Two killed in Maphumulo crash
Updated | By ANA
Two people were killed when the delivery van in which they were travelling veered off the road and 50 m down an embankment in Maphumulo, paramedics said on Thursday.

Robert McKenzie, spokesperson for KwaZulu-Natal’s provincial Emergency Medical Services, said that when paramedics arrived on scene on Wednesday night they found that the man and woman, both in their 30s, had sustained fatal injuries.
A further four people were injured, three of whom were described as being in a serious condition.
It was not immediately clear why the vehicle had veered off the road or exactly what it was delivering.
McKenzie said traffic authorities and police were on scene and investigating the accident.
Maphumulo is about 50 kilometres inland from (KwaDukuza) Stanger, on the R74 which links KwaDukuza with Kranskop.
