Two killed in N1 crash in Limpopo
The Department of Transport in Limpopo has confirmed the death of two people in a car accident on the N1 north near the Modimolle mountain on Thursday morning.
A four-year old boy is one of the deceased.
The fatal car crash also left 6 other people with varying levels of injuries.
It is reported that 6 vehicles were involved in a pile-up, which resulted in the accident.
Provincial spokesperson Tidimalo Chuene says the accident was cleared before noon.
"The road is now open after it was closed for emergency services.
"We urge motorists to be patient and proceed with caution."
