Two Limpopo men in the dock for cable theft

Police in Lebowakgomo have arrested two suspects in connection with the theft of electrical cables at the provincial legislature on Saturday morning.
The two suspects were arrested after security guards, who were on routine patrol at the premises, caught them red-handed while they were busy digging for cables.
They were found in possession of spades, spanners, and suspected stolen electrical cables.
Limpopo police spokesperson Motlafela Mojapelo says the two suspects are expected to appear in the Lebowakgomo Magistrate's Court on Monday.
“Police were immediately alerted and on arrival they found two suspects, searched them and found spades, spanners, and piks as well as the stolen electrical cables of an estimated street value of R4000.”
