Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the murder of five people in Rabie Ridge, east of Johannesburg.

The five were killed by members of the community who accused them of criminal activities in the area.
The suspects are expected to appear before the Tembisa Magistrate's Court on Thursday.
Gauteng police spokesperson Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi says the suspects will also face a charge of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
"Both suspects, aged 38 and 39 years old, were arrested on the evening of 22 January 2024 after the police conducted preliminary investigations and followed up on leads that they received."
