Three lions have been killed, of which two were found decapitated, at the Turffontein Farm outside Polokwane in Limpopo.

Police say poachers decapitated and chopped the paws off two male lions. The third lion was a female and had not been dismembered.
The animal parts are believed to be used in traditional medicine.
Limpopo police spokesperson Motlafelo Mojapelo says the lions were discovered yesterday.
"They appear to have been decapitated the night before," he says. "The three lions were found dead and had possibly been poisoned."

He says this incident is similar to other cases in Tzaneen, Mara and Hoedspruit.
Two weeks ago, three male lions had been killed and decapitated at the lion park in Tzaneen.
It's believed the lions had been fed poisoned meat before they were mutilated.
