Two nabbed in Delmas for driving stolen police vehicle

Police in Mpumalanga have arrested two men in Delmas after they were caught in possession of a police stolen vehicle. the suspects are currently detained in jail awaiting court appearance.

The two, who were driving on the N12, were nabbed on Wednesday.
Police spokesperson Selvy Mohlala says the bakkie, which was converted into a diesel tanker, belonged to the Thohoyandou police in Limpopo.
“Police at Delmas have since confiscated about 500 litres of diesel to the estimated value of about R 13 800. The registration number plates displayed in the bakkie were incorrect hence the car was seized.”
