Two suspects killed in foiled Tulisa Park business robbery

Gauteng police have arrested 11 suspects following a foiled business robbery in Tulisa Park, south of Johannesburg on Thursday.

Two suspects were killed during a shoot out with police.
It is understood that a gang of 20 heavily armed suspects stormed one of the companies at an industrial park in attempt to steal solar panels.
Gauteng police commissioner Elias Mawela says the suspects were intercepted by the local private security.
"Out of the group of 20, we have 11 arrested and two fatalities. We recovered 10 firearms, eight pistols and two AK47s. Thier intention was business robbery, one of the suspects told me they came to load solar panels."
Mawela says the suspects will be charged with attempted murder, attempted business robbery, attempted hijacking and possession of unlicenced firearms and ammunition.
