UKZN confirms Gordhan qualification

The University of KwaZulu-Natal has confirmed that Minister of Public Enterprises Pravin Gordhan did obtain his BSc Degree in Pharmacy.
The university released a statement on Twitter on Monday afternoon, confirming that Gordhan does indeed have a degree from the University which he attained in 1973.
"In addition, he received an honorary doctorate in 2003 and the convocation award from UKZN in 2013," the statement reads.

Rumours of Gordhan not obtaining a tertiary qualification resurfaced over the weekend, with some social media users claiming that they have never seen a record of his qualification.
Minister of Higher Education Blade Nzimande, also jumped to Gordhan's defence in a Facebook post.
He explains to social media users how Gordhan attained his degree.
