UKZN students march to Provincial Legislature
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
Hundreds of students at the University of KwaZulu Natal's Pietermaritzburg campus are marching to the Provincial Legislature.

The march is in response to the Higher Education Minister Blade Nzimande announcement yesterday stating that universities will determine their own fee increases; however, not exceeding 8 percent.
The minister added students receiving NSFAS funding and those who fall under the 'missing middle' will not be subjected to fee hikes next year.
The students burned incense and prayed over the march before exiting the campus gates - and making their way down Alan Paton Avenue.
The 400-strong crowd are carrying placards that read 'Fees Must Fall', 'The Revolution is coming' and 'We will fight for our country'.
There's heavy police presence escorting the students to the Legislature. Upon arrival, they will hand over a memorandum to the Speaker.
