Update on Tutu’s health expected today
A press briefing has been scheduled for 10.30am on Thursday to update the media on Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu’s health.
It will be held at the Desmond and Leah Tutu Legacy Foundation in the Clocktower Precinct at the Waterfront.
He was admitted to hospital last week and was apparently being treated for inflamation.
Tutu has had several persistent infections that have required hospitalisation this year.
His daughter, Mpho, is expected to address the media. -ANA
