Verulam boy (4) dies after falling from building

Police have launched a probe into the death of a 4-year-old boy who fell from fourth floor at his home in Verulam, KwaZulu-Natal.

The boy died on Monday morning.
KwaZulu-Natal police spokesperson Nqobile Gwala says the boy died after he was rushed to a nearby hospital.
“Verulam SAPS is investigating an inquest docked following an incident that took place yesterday morning at 10:30 where a 4-year-old boy fell from the fourth floor while at his home on Ireland Street in Verulam.
“He sustained head injuries and he was rushed to hospital for medical attention where he later died, and the matter is still under investigation.”
