Veteran journalist and political analyst Karima Brown has passed away.
Brown, who was most recently the host of 'The Fix on television news channel eNCA,' held a number of senior positions in the media throughout her career.
eNCA reported on Thursday morning that she succumbed to complications brought about by Covid-19.
eNCA news anchor Dan Moyane said it is a sad day when someone of the calibre of Brown is no more.
"I recall working with Karima Brown in the mid 90's in fact she was my producer when I worked at the SABC's National English Station SAFM.
"It is indeed a sad morning, it is a day when you lose somebody of the calibre of Karima Brown," said Moyane.
He added that Brown's contribution to the local media landscape would be greatly missed.
